【靴鞋填充物常識】

 萬事威販售的靴鞋品牌 Wesco Boots， White's Boots，Mansway Boots 使用的靴鞋夾層填充材質大概有以下幾種：

 1.Solid leather：使用皮革填充物，但是會使靴鞋的重量增加80%～90%。代表品牌：Wesco Boots 也有 Welt Stitching 款有防靜電功能，全部使用皮革填充，WESCO Welt Stitching 款是 - 10 吋高的 Voltfoe or Groundout.

 2.Cork：使用軟木填充，有一定的揮發物質，靴鞋穿著時可能會發出有吱嘎聲。代表品牌：White's Boots 也有Welt Stitching 款像 VINTAGE 屬於 Machine lasted boots 款有填充軟木 Cork。

 3. High tech shock absorbing foam sheet：彈性仿震動發泡片材，增強舒適度，減輕靴鞋重量。代表品牌：Julian， Fan-Tastic 系列使用彈性仿震動發泡片材.

Wesco Boots - We make one type of work boot that is welt constructed. It’s made that way so it’s Electrical Hazard rated (the soles have to be glued on so the electricity won’t travel through them). On them we use a full piece of leather to fill. We would never use cheap cork materials in a Wesco.

White's Boots - Cork sheeting or muslin cloth is used between the lasting are of the boot and the midsole only.

 Julian Imrie - When we build a boot we choose to use the highest quality American leather for the upper. The lining is also from the USA, which is a sweat resistant vegetable tanned lining leather. We use all leather construction with American hide insole, tanned in a certified, environmentally clean tannery in Mexico. The double thick outsole comes from the same place, unless the Belgium or the German outsole is requested, which costs more. Between the insole and the outsole we use a shock absorbing sheet, which slowly breaks down, as the insole and outsole take on the shape of your foot. Our lasts are anatomical, and we prefer the sheet to synthetic cork paste, which will not allow the leather to conform to your foot as well as the sheet. This makes a boot which is not as heavy as one which uses all leather fill in between the insole and outsole, and essentially conforms to your foot in the same way. In the back counter and toe box, we use double layer last conforming selastic, which we prepare by hand. this makes the back counter and toe box super strong. In our custom made to measure orders we can use all leather toebox, or back counter if the customer requests it, and if they dont mind the weight we can use all leather fill, between the insole, and outsole. Some like the fit and feel of this better, as the boot is heavier, and the shock when you walk slightly more jarring to start with. In our custom, made to measure boots.
